Ok Day.

Today was kind of a long day. Got up and went to work, Traffic was terrible.   There was a turned van in the median.  It had a baby on board sticker in the window I hope that everyone was OK.  There was police and ambulance already there.

When I got to work,  I grabbed my harness and box and went to the man lift and took it up to the fourth floor where “O” and I have been working.  We are between columns 6 and 7 and the brick is off 1 1/2″ in 4′, and the stud work is off by at least 1/2″.  To do my layout is about impossible.  So after about an hour and a half i got it as it is going to get. work

So “O” and I started putting up our panels.  Once we got the left bay done the second bay went really well.  Trying to find our flashing was kind of a pain.  All the flashing was gone from the second floor and third floor so I had to go back down to the ground and opened a few crates and had to dig out some more.  The problem is that i got into the crate for the third building.  My foremen cant find the extra flashing for the building I’m in right now so he will have to order more so we don’t run short in the third building.

Found out today that in about a month that we are going to from 6/10’s to 4/10’s and some of us are going down to the new area for the pitts pens.  Weneed to do a prelayout for when we get there in late summer early fall.  That there is about a years worth of work, at least.

harleyAfter work today, “O” was going to pick up his new bike. He got a Harley.  He was like a kid in a candy store.  He was trying to decided what helmet would match his bike the best.  It was so funny.  Between doing layout on our panels and him thinking about his bike all day,  it was just funny day.

Speaking of “O” He just texted me and he made it home safe and sound and says that he loves his bike.  Congrats to you and I hope you enjoy!  Cant wait to see it tomorrow at work.  If its not raining. <LOL>

Well I talk to my wife a little bit today.  She had so much to say today.  We got mail at the house today that we have been waiting for three weeks.  So we have to do that and get it sent back in.  She had several conversations today from other friends that we haven’t heard from lately.  And then when I was getting dinner tonight she called me and said that the front window in the front door was broke.  My father in law was going to go over and take a look at it for me so they would be safe until I got home.

I’m not going to be able to get home tomorrow. I have to work late, So im going to go home Thursday night. Cant wait to get home and see my little man, and my wife. She has been waiting to make me a new dish, eggplant parmesan.   Ive never heard of the dish but ill try anything.

My wife is calling, so ill post more later.

I was asked to day to do a post about the Ford Focus RS8, So check back soon.

The last three days have been very trying. I did something stupid and we all know that it wont be the last time, but to let everyone konw, Things are good. Life is good. Some times thats all you can say.

Im going home tomarrow. For Three days!!! Im taking off saterday because i have to help my wife get ready for a dipper party and welcome home party for my sister inlaw and her husband. We havent seen them sence last year. They are so exited to see my son.

My son will go to my mother in laws house and play and then he will all of a sudden stop playing and go to a pic that is in the corner of the living room on an end table and pick it up and kiss it. The pic is of my sister in law and her husband. It is so cute, he may be young but he knows who loves him.

Im sorry to thoes who dont want to be part of my sons life. They are missing out! There are many things that could be said here but the only thing that matters is that no matter what has happend in the past, life moves on. Life is to short to be mad or upset about things.

All familys have issues, Some worse then others. However its what you take from thoes issues that makes or brakes a family. My family has learned a lot. We have taken the good and bad and learned from all of it.

Well enough of my rambaling on, I leave you with this….

I love my wife with all my heart. My son is the greatest in the world. We love our lives and all who are in it, and we are sorry for those who arnt. But at the end of the day as long as i have my wife son and son to come, Im Ok with anything that is thrown my way.

66 Mustang!

Well im back in. My wife a few months ago said i could buy another mustang, but it had to be a 66. So i found one on ebay, of all places. I found a shell of a 66 mustang that was stiped down to nothing. So I showed my wife and she said as long as i got it cheap.

Well the hour was here. I was watching the bidding and in the last 5 min i bidded $150.00. Low and behold I won the bid. So my wife and I, along with our son started planing a trip to Hardeville SC. We decided to make it a family vacation. So my wife found some zoos that she thought that our son might like. And then we set a day.

We ended up going 4 days after the auction ended. I loaded up the mini van, with food, drinks, movies, and pillows. I then hooked up the trailer and put in coolers in the back and then we were ready to go. So we left and drove through WV and stoped for dinner and after that we stoped at a hotel for the night. My wife and son could not ride that long in a car.

The next morning we got up and at 5am and drove the rest of the way down. We got there about 130pm, and it was so nice out, 73 and sunny. Getting the car didnt take very long. They were there waiting for us. They had the car up in the air so all I had to do is back my trailer under it and then we lowered it onto the trailer and then straped it down. Once all straped down we went in did the title work and went on our way.

We went to the hotel and droped off the triler and went to the ocean. It breeze was kinda cool but it was so nice. My son was so funny. I put him down in the sand for the frist time and he really was not sure what to do. At first he didnt want down but then i put him down and left him down so he kinda got ust to it. So we played on the beach for a while and then went home.

The next morning we started on our way home. 4 hours down the road we stoped near the boarded of SC at a zoo. It was kinda a bummer. The things that were supposed to be open wernt. The only thing that my son really enjoyed was ridding a real pony. We did them once and then saw the rest of the zoo. We wanted to go back and ride the pony againe but when we went back they were closed to. So at that point we decided that it was time to leave.

So we packed up againe and headed down the road. I drove till about 11pm and my wife was started to get cramped up so we stoped at another hotel stayed the night and drove the rest of the way home.

So now the car is sitting in the basment of my houes and im trying to save up money for the parts that i need. LOL everything!! Its going to take a while. So ill keep you up to date on the progress.

WOW! Watch Out!!

Wow, what a day. It was so nice today. It was 87outside and sunny. I got up a 4am to drive down to Pitt’s for work and it was 67 out. When I got to work the parking lot in front of our work trailer was full. So I had to park four rows away. It was so nice i really didn’t mind.

We had 6 new guys start today. Our ground man had school this week so we had to get a replacement for this week. The guy there today was doing OK for his first day on the job.

On a diffrent note, did you seen the race on sunday?! WOW! Watch Out!!Carl Edwards had a huge comeback, and then a huge wreck only yards away from the finish line so he got out of his car and ran across the finish line. Now that is commitment. Only if we all had that kind of dedication to our jobs.! He did a great job for Ford.

What a driver. To go thou all that and still get out of the car and run over the finish line.

After work I came home, In Pitt, and took a nice cold shower. After that i ate home made ribs. Once again, WOW! I ate so much its not funny. After dinner i went into town for wipes for the baby. Then back home to talk to my wife.

Over the weekend i was talking to a Ford Rep about a diesel ford focus or a focus hybrid. He asked me if i would be interested in an electric Ford Focus. Sure why not? Looks good and is earth friendly, not to mention that the mileage is awesome. Check it out. Ford Electrified Vehicle.

I hope that I get a chance to be part of Ford in some way. Being part of the future would be awesome.

Well only 6 days left untill the dipper party!! We cant wait to see everybody. All of our family is going to be there and our closest friends. We will have a ton of food and a keg. ( not for my wife of course.) I’m so excited for my new son to arrive. After the party we are going to remodel two of the bedrooms and enclose the porch. So I have a lot to do in three months.

Well thats all for now. Ill keep you up to date.

PS Fords Fusion Hybrid is at 1197 so far on one tank of gas and still going. Watch for more updates….
And don’t forget Rebuild them don’t Cruch’em

Life with the family

Its Friday! I go back home tomorrow after work. Right now I’m working 6 days a week in Pitts. My truck uses to much gas to drive back and forth so I’m staying down at my wife’s uncles and aunts house with there three boys.

I have a wife and a son at home with another coming is July. I also have two dogs that are home waiting for me. When I get home my son is always looking out the window looking for me to come home. When I pull in the driveway he starts waving and yelling because he is so excited. I love seeing his face when I get home. My wife will let him outside when I pull in and he will come down the steps and come running down the sidewalk towards me with his arms out and yelling for me. What a great feeling.

I get home Saturday night and I’m home all day Sunday, then I have to get back up Monday morning at 4am to be back down in Pitt for work. I love my job tho. Being out of town is the worst part, but because Erie PA is becoming a tourist town, there arnt a hole lot of jobs that pay enough to support a family on a single income.

My wife is the best. Ya she doesn’t like me being out of town but she knows that I’m only doing it to support my family. It can be very stressful for her. Especially not that she is 6 months pregnant, and an almost 2 year old. I have to give it to her she does a great job holding it together. The house is always clean and my son is always learning something new. She has her days that she can get upset about little things, but lets be honest, we all have those days. LOL. If you don’t agree, your lying.

My dogs, where do i start? I have a 6 year old chiwawa, and a 2 year old pure white pure breed Shepard. Belle, and Shelby. They are both great dogs. Too great to be honest with you. No one but my in laws can come into the house. My dogs go nuts when someone comes that they don’t know. Great guard dogs. Shelby loves to play. She plays Frisbee, ball and any other game you can come up with and she is so good with my son.

Belle is also a good dog. She is great for cuddling. She like to sleep under the covers at night right up against my stomach. During the winter its great she acts like a little heater. during the summer not so much but she is very protective of my son as well. Yes they are an odd combo, but sometimes odd just works.

On a different note, I’m going to try and start an online partition to try and get diesel fule regulated so that we can get more diesel cars built. In Europe they have a Ford Focus ZX3 diesel car that gets 75mpg. That’s 28% better then any hybrid in the states currently. So please look for the link to come. The more the better. The Government needs to regulate diesel, “No regulation on diesel fuel prices now; unpredictability in pricing = unpredictability in demand. Can’t run a company like that currently” This is way they don’t build diesel cars.

If Ford had a car that got that kind of mileage i would be able to be home every night with my family. That would mean the world to me. Not to mention that it would save everybody a ton of money in fuel cost. As long as the cost of the car isn’t outrageous.

Ill keep you up to date as i try to get congress to change there mind.

Well I have to call my wife and son and say good night.

And remember rebuild then don’t crush them.!
